Description

One of the most exciting ways to feed curiosity is to travel and experience a culture firsthand. When coming to Indonesia, make sure to visit Lombok — an ideal destination for those who wish to be acquainted with the interesting local culture.

Included in the itinerary is the Narmada Water Palace built in 1727 by Anak Agung Gede Karang Asem. Used both as a garden of pleasure and a place of worship, it is famous for its spring water which is believed to give pilgrims eternal youth. To have a glimpse of what it’s like to live in a local Lombok community, proceed to the Kopang Traditional Market and feel free to observe. Don’t hesitate to mingle with the friendly locals too before heading to Sapit for a short trek.

If you wish to commune with nature, there’s the Sendang Gile waterfall beneath Mount Rinjani. Approximately 125 metres high, it is set among a lush surrounding with spectacular gorges overhung by vines as well as stunning flora and fauna. Other must-sees are the Sembalun Lawang, Sembalun Bumbung villages and Segenter traditional village. If you’re lucky, you might even get to see a spectacular sunset on your way back to your hotel! There’s no need to look further if you want to appreciate Lombok’s pride. All you have to do is book this tour as soon as possible!
