As Safety Is Are Main Moto We Promote The Use Of Riding Gear When On The Rides And By Showing Their Importance We Are Promoting Their Use In Day To Day Riding Use. We Also Discuss Topic As Well As Experiences which Will Help Every Individual To Know Their Vehicles Better And Help Them When Traveling In The Future. Fun Will Never Have Its Limitations. Travel Itinerary: 18 DAYS ROAD TRIP TO THE GREAT HIMALAYAS Day 01 – 03rd June (Jammu) Approx. Kilometers for day 01: 00 km All riders who will be joining the ride for 18 days journey will meet is directly in Jammu. After collecting their bikes, they will proceed to the hotel where they will spend the night. After the 30 days batch people arrive, everyone meets at dinner. Day 02 – 04th June (Jammu – Srinagar) Approx. Kilometers for day 02: 295 km We leave early morning as we have to cover 295km to reach Srinagar, our next halt. Reaching their, we settle in House Boats on Nigeen Lake. • Experiencing the transition in the scenic beauty after crossing 3km length of Jawahar Tunnel. Day 03 – 05th June (Srinagar) Approx. Kilometers for day 03: 00 km Next morning we get ready and go for a stole in the local street markets and for those who would like to go for a ride in Shikara’s on Dal Lake can do so on their own. We will service the bikes as they need to be in the best conditions for the roads ahead. • Staying in houseboats. • Shikara rides in the Dal Lake. Day 04 – 06th June (Srinagar – Sonmarg) Approx. Kilometers for day 04: 80 km We leave after an early lunch at Srinagar, for our first planned outdoor camping outing (Depends on the weather condition). • Camping between mountain ranges. Cooking food on stoves for night. Day 05 – 07th June (Sonmarg – Drass) Approx. Kilometers for day 05: 63 km After wrapping the campsite we head off to Drass. On the way we have our break-fast and drink the local tea called KAVA. Zojilla Pass is congested by traffic, which explains the delay. We halt at Drass the world’s second coldest place for the night. • Getting up to the snowcapped mountains. • Hot KAVA in the morning (local tea). • Crossing Zojila pass. • Halting at Drass world’s second coldest place. Day 06 – 08th June (Drass[Kargil Memorial] – Kargil – Lamayuru) Approx. Kilometers for day 06: 166 km We depart after a heavy breakfast to the nearby Kargil Memorial to pay our tribute to the fallen martyrs of the Kargil war. After spending an hour, we travel towards Lamayuru. • Visiting Kargil Memorial. • Crossing Fotula Pass. Day 07 – 09th June (Lamayuru – Leh) Approx. Kilometers for day 07: 109 km Last 100km stretch before we reach our main destination. Leh here we come. Visiting the Lamayuru Gompa in the morning we leave for the Mecca for all Bikers LEH!!!. • Lamayuru Gompa • Magnetic Hill. Day 08 – 10th June (Leh) Approx. Kilometers for day 08: 00km We rest for the day and acclimatize to the high altitude (12000ft). The whole day is a free-day, all bikers could explore Leh and places around as mentioned and advised by us or our local help. Bikes will be serviced and tuned for the high altitude to come the next day. (Meal allowance will be provided for the day) • Exploring Leh city and living the night life. • Visiting Tibetan Exhibition. Day 09 – 11th June (Leh – Khardungla – Nubra) Approx. Kilometers for day 09: 114km Leaving early morning, to cross Khardungla one of the highest motor able pass in the world. After halting for tea and memorable pic on the world’s highest motor able pass we leave for Nubra. Reaching Nubra we set up our camps and call it a day. • Riding through Khardungla one of the highest motor able pass in the world. • Stay at Nubra. (World Highest Desert) Day 10 – 12th June (Nubra – Leh) Approx. Kilometers for day 10: 114 km We explore the cold desert of Nubra, which is located 3048 meters above sea level and ride the 2 humped camels(Cost not included in the package). Post a late breakfast we leave for Leh. We cross Khardungla once again, as we descend to Leh. Late lunch in the city of Leh. • Exploring Nubra. Day 11 – 13th June (Leh – Pangong Tso) Approx. Kilometers for day 11: 214 km We leave for Pangong Tso in the morning with the needed camping gears and essentials. 214 km on these roads is a difficult feat. We reach our destination late evening and check in the local tent accommodation. • Riding through the twisty roads to reach Pangong Tso. • Camping at Pangong Tso Lake. Day 12 – 14th June (Pangong Tso – Leh) Approx. Kilometers for day 12: 180 km We spend the night at Pangong Tso lake and getting up to the scenic view we leave for Leh. • Photo session at Pangong Tso lake. Day 13 – 15th June (Leh – Pang) Approx. Kilometers for day 13: 140 km Leaving early morning we head for Pang. Crossing Tangtangla pass and the silt planes we reach Pang. We stay in local tent like dhabas and call it a night. • Riding through Tangtangla Pass. • Staying in man-made tents in low temperatures. • Crossing one State Border (Jammu Kashmir to Himachal Pradesh). Day 14 – 16th June (Pang – Keylong) Approx. Kilometers for day 14: 184 km Leaving early morning after breakfast we head towards Keylong. Crossing maximum number of streams in Baralacha Pass we reach Kylong for the night. • Crossing the notorious Baralacha Pass. Day 15 – 17th June (Keylong – Manali) Approx. Kilometers for day 15: 118 km Riding to Manali through the gruesome Rotang Pass we reach early evening. Calling it a day we get into a relaxing mood as we don’t ride tomorrow. • Crossing Rhotang Pass. • Exploring Manali. Day 16 – 18th June (Manali) Approx. Kilometers for day 16:00 km A free day in Manali. Roaming the streets of Manali and places around, we call it a night but a bit late. • Enjoying whatever Manali has to offer and living its nightlife. Day 17 – 19th June (Manali – Chandigarh) Approx. Kilometers for day 17: 300 km Leaving after an early breakfast we leave for Chandigarh our last destination. Night stay will be in Chandigarh. Day 18 – 20th June (Chandigarh) Approx. Kilometers for day 18: 00 km Today we bid farewell to all the riders. After loading the bikes, we checking out from the hotel and head to our respective hubs for departure.

Additional Information

• Tour is available from 03rd June to 20th June 2016.
• Children below 2 years are complimentary.
• For Car Passengers minimum 4 Pax is allowed
• All the prices are for Indian Nationals only, unless specified
• Trip schedule is subjected to change as per roads & weather conditions so take a day or two in buffer.
• Depending on the weather conditions, the instructor will decide the sequence of the destination.
• Some tours require your original passport/Driving Licence/ID Proof, we have mentioned this information in the important notes so please ensure that you read the important information, Tripxoxo will not be responsible if you miss any tour where your passport or ID is mandatory.
• Tripxoxo reserves the rights to charge 100% No show charges if guest is not turning up on time for the pick up.
• No refund for partly utilized services.
• Due to any uncontrollable circumstances i.e. (traffic conditions, vehicle breakdowns, delay by other guests, weather circumstances) if the tour gets delayed or cancelled, Tripxoxo will provide alternate options if possible.
• Seating arrangement are done as per the availability & it is decided by Driver or Tour Guide.
• If in any case the guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs from the pickup location then Tripxoxo will not arrange for alternative transfer & no refund is provided for the missed tour.
