Choose a morning or afternoon class and make your way to a kitchen in central Rome to begin your cooking lesson.

Class begins with a trip to the market. Wander among the Val Melaina stalls, the biggest and richest open air market in Rome. Pick up the freshest ingredients for the dishes to be prepared. Back in the kitchen, cook a full meal utilizing everything you bought - vegetables, cheeses, meat, etc.

The class includes the preparation of a pasta course (in the best Italian tradition), such as bucatini ‘Amatriciana’ style, spaghetti ‘carbonara’ style, or linguine with pesto sauce. Learn the secrets to making a traditional Italian egg pasta, such as fettucine, pappardelle, or ravioli. 

Prepare a second course based on meat. Choose to prepare ‘involtini al sugo’ (meat rolls in sauce), or ‘saltimbocca’ Roman style, or stewed meatballs, or veal and lemon escalopes, or ‘pepperoni’ chicken - or any other traditional Roman dish among the family recipes. As a side course, we won’t forget fresh seasonal vegetables.

Finish the class and meal with a traditional tiramisu for dessert.
