The 4 different bus routes cover the whole city, and the various lengths of trips give you plenty of flexibility to hop on and off throughout the day. Hop-off the red line at Bus Stop 2 to visit the Clock Tower, a bizarre but eye-catching yellow and black building, and then hop on again ready to roam Long Street at Bus Stop 5, a famous bohemian-style street that gives you a real insight into the South African culture.


Why not grab a bite to eat? There's an endless selection of different cuisines, perhaps try some new typical South African dishes and really immerse yourself into their culture. For all those animal lovers out there, switch to the Blue Line and hop-off at Bus Stop 7 to visit the World of Birds & Monkey Jungle, the visit will be worthwhile!

The Bo-Kaap Walk (60 minutes): See the Bo-Kaap’s colourful houses, hear the mosque’s calling for prayer, let the Cape Malay food tempt your tastebuds. Departs at 2:00 pm & 4:15 pm.


The District 6 Walk (90 minutes): Hear about apartheid and the forced removals and also tales from its colourful past before that. Hear about present day life & see local beloved landmarks that survived the Apartheid Bulldozers. Departs at 11:00 am & 2:00 pm


The V&A Waterfront Walk (90 minutes): Take a guided walk in and around Africa's most popular hub – the V&A Waterfront. Departs at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and 4:15 pm from the V&A Waterfront ticket office.
