Travel Itinerary:
27th May, 2017, Saturday
Start journey to Coimbatore at 10.35pm by Coimbatore Express (11013).
29th May, Monday:
07:00 - Reach Coimbatore & Start journey towards Kodaikanal by private cab
13:00 - Reach Kodaikanal and visit Kodaikanal Lake, Bryant Park and Coakers Walk.
Overnight at cottage in Kodaikanal
30th May, Tuesday:
08:00 - Forest walk for 1 hour.
09:00 - Jeep Safari for one and half hour.
10:00 - Start trekking towards Pundi (a mysterious tribal village). On the way, enjoy different types of flora, scenic mountain views, and beautiful waterfalls. You may also spot Bison or bear
17:00 - Reach Pundi. Rest in a home stay & have camp fire. Interact with locals & Meet tribal healers. Have authentic South Indian dinner made by the tribal people.
31st May, Wednesday:
08:00 - Trek to Kovillur. Climb a peak near Vattavada and enjoy the view of dense green valleys. We can swim in a lake on the way.
Reach Top Station, Log in our cottage & watch sunset. We can go to view point of huge dams of Munaar (Vattavada, Mattupati and Gundala) and also the highest peak of Munaar. You might see herds of Elephants here
1st June, Thursday:
08:00 - Start walking towards the fascinating tea plantations of Munnar. Stop by to buy fresh Tea and coffee.
Overnight at Munnar
2nd June, Friday:
08:00 - Go for sightseeing in Munaar. Visit Ervikulam National Park & watch the most peaceful animal - The Nilgiri Thar.
Visit Lukkam waterfalls and shopping in Munnar.
3rd June, Saturday:
09:00 - Start journey to Aluva.
12:00 - Reach Aluva. Start back journey to Mumbai by 12617 Mangala express (13.40) or by 16346 Netravati Express (14.26).
4th June, Sunday: Reach Mumbai
