Old Goa was Goas former capital city. It was a thriving city even in the pre- Portuguese times. It had been the capital of the Bahmani Sultan Adil Shah. The large palace of Adil Shah, surrounded by fort walls, towers and a moat was located here as well as many temples and mosques. Unfortunately none of these structures remain in existence today except for the ruins of the gateway to the palace.


• Visit the Archeological Museum
• Visit to Old Goas first church, the Church of St Catherine.
• Visit the back of the back of the Archbishops Palace.
• Finally arrive at the Viceroys Arch and the Church of St Cajetan.

We then trace the old main street of Old Goa, the Rua Direita to pass by the Se Cathedral and the Church of St Francis, before reaching the Basilica of Bom Jesus where the remains of St Francis Xavier are to be found.

• There are two activities starting at 9 in the morning and 4 in the evening.
• This is a two and a half hour tour.

• Due to any uncontrollable circumstances i.e. (traffic conditions, vehicle breakdowns, delay by other guests, weather circumstances) if the tour gets delayed or cancelled, Tripxoxo will provide alternate options if possible.
• Seating arrangement are done as per the availability & it is decided by Driver or Tour Guide.
• If in any case the guest does not show up on time and our vehicle departs from the pickup location then Tripxoxo will not arrange for alternative transfer & no refund is provided for the missed tour.
