Additional Information

Start tour after meeting private chauffeur at the hotel lobby. Drive to Raneh Fall Canyon is fun filled venture into the rural life of Bundelkhand region in Madhya Peadesh.
Raneh Falls is one of the prominent tourist attractions, which is named after King Rane Pratap, the erstwhile ruler of the region. Situated in close vicinity of the destination, the waterfall emerged at the confluence of Ken and Khuddar rivers.
The Ken River forms a 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) long, and 30 metres (98 ft) deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon. The larger and smaller falls run all through the year. Other seasonal falls appear during monsoons.
The Ken Gharial Sanctuary is located at the confluence of the Ken and Khudar rivers further down from Reneh Falls. The Ken River here runs through a narrow gorge of igneous rocks rich in Granite and Dolomite.
Raneh falls is located just where the Panna national park starts. It is an exquisite waterfall formed by river Ken running over one of the oldest rocks on earth, the Vindhya basalt. The black and pink basalt rock provides a wondrous landscaping to the gushing monsoon waters.
The Jungle guides/rangers appointed by the forest protection department would love to share their information about flora and fauna. Different colored stones display a majestic art of nature under clear blue sky.
At the end of the tour, private chauffeur will drop you back to your hotel or at the Khajuraho Airport.
